il seme is an Italian restaurant from James Beard nominated Chef Lisa Becklund and Linda Ford, co-owners of FarmBar in Tulsa and Living Kitchen Farm & Dairy in Depew, OK, a James Beard 2022 semi-finalist for Outstanding Restaurant. il seme’s Chef, Jordan Hawley, is a 2024 James Beard semifinalist for Best Chef Southwest and Front of House and Beverage Manager Ella Spencer is the 2023 Philbrook Mix Critic’s Choice winner.

il seme is a dinner and dine-in only restaurant in the heart of downtown Tulsa's Deco District. We serve authentic regional Italian dishes, sourced locally. Our aim is for il seme to become a favorite neighborhood spot for residents and a warm place for guests visiting Tulsa.

The name ‘il seme’ is the Italian word for the seed referencing how the restaurant concept began as just a seed of an idea that ultimately grew into something much bigger, as well as aligning with Lisa and Linda’s agrarian roots.
