Farm Kid’s Camp, July 15-18
If you’re looking for a summer day camp for kids at the farm for your 4-14 year old, it’s here! Farm camp offers a unique opportunity for kids to immerse themselves in the world of regenerative agriculture, animals, and nature.
Camps are Monday through Thursday, starting your day with drop off at 8:30 am for a day filled with exciting activities starting at 9:30 am. Pickup is at 2:30 pm (with a must-pickup time of 3:30 pm). The weekly cost is $240 per child, with special discounts available for siblings. Payment plans are available.
Tailored lessons cater to each child's abilities, ensuring a rewarding experience for all. Whether your child is a budding farmer or simply loves being outdoors and animals, farm camp offers something for every age and interest.
As the day progresses, we'll transition from outdoor lessons to refreshing water activities and indoor arts and crafts to beat the heat. Our goal is to instill a love for regenerative agriculture in children, empowering them to connect with nature and understand the importance of sustainable living.
The basics:
- $240 for Monday-Thursday
- Drop off begins at 8:30, we will begin activities at 9:30.
- Pickup begins at 2:30 and kids must be picked up by 3:30.
- Ages 4-14 years.
- Pack a sack lunch for picnics.
- Please bring one snack (additional snacks will be gathered from the garden).
What to Expect:
- Animal husbandry lessons covering a variety of farm animals including horses and ponies, dairy cows, pigs, laying hens, meat birds, bunnies, and livestock guardian dogs.
- Hands-on experience milking cows.
- Forest foraging and plant identification.
- Introduction to market gardening, cover crops, and soil health.

- Basic building skills.
- Creative flower preservation techniques.
Items to bring daily:
- A notebook or sketch pad for nature drawings (I will provide all other art supplies).
- Sunscreen and bug spray should be applied prior to arrival.
- Snacks and a sack lunch.
- Refillable water bottle.
- Fresh towel.
- Come dressed in your swimsuit with clothes over it.
- Extra change of clothes.
- Life jacket.
