  • Half hogs are $9.60/lb. This means your bacon, hams, roasts, and ground meat are all $9.60/lb rather than ranging from $15-10/lb if you were buying individual retail cuts.Hogs are priced by packaged weight rather than hanging weight, so you only pay for what you bring home.
  • Hogs are processed between 250-300 lbs. You can expect to get back 60% from pen (live weight) to plate (packaged weight). Example: For a half hog, you can expect 68.75 lbs for a total of $660. Exact amounts will vary depending on the live weight of hogs at harvest.
  • Custom cut sheets, butcher fees, and smoking/curing are included with each purchase. Add-ons, which include summer sausage, snack sticks, fresh brats, and patties, are an additional charge that will be added to your total.

HALF HOG 

*this is approximately what you can expect to get back from a half hog*

  • Loin: 20lbs of pork chops (2 chops per pack, 16 packs)
  • Tenderloin: .5lbs (1 tenderloin)
  • Ribs: 3lbs of spare ribs (1 rack)
  • Ham: 15 pounds of ham (half ham, ham steaks, or sandwich ham)
  • Bacon: 7lbs 
  • Shoulder/Roast: 9lbs of roast or country style ribs
  • Ground pork and/or breakfast sausage: 10 pounds 
  • Lard, bones, offal: 4lbs *optional*
  • Equals approximately: 68.5lbs total 

A non refundable deposit of $200 is required to reserve your half hog. The remaining balance will be due before pickup/delivery.
